After the exchange of the wedding rings the Groom and Bride will each take a rose and present it to their new mother-in-laws.

Officiant: "This wedding celebration is a joining of two unique families who stood separate until today.  

Today we unite these families by the marriage of Groom and Bride.  

Groom and Bride would each like to honor the separateness of their families and now, togetherness, with the giving of a Beautiful Rose to their mothers...".

 A few words of love and affirmation can be spoken to each of the Mothers also by the Groom and Bride.
